The most popular excursion options at Copper Mountain Stables are the trail rides which are offered in one and two hour increments. Half day trips that include lunch are also available. Enjoy a scenic walking trail ride in the high country of Colorado that traverses the mountains through lush green meadows and forests. Picturesque wild flowers and wonderful views of the Ten Mile Range, Gore Range and Jacques Peak.

Half
Day with Lunch:
If
you'd like a longer trip in to the mountains we offer our
Half Day with Lunch. Cross streams and meadows while taking
in the views. After arriving in our lunch camp take a break
and enjoy a boxed lunch among the wildflowers.

| Clothing recommendations: Hat, long pants, rain coat or light jacket & closed toed shoes or boots. Bring water if you like, but definitely don't forget your camera! Riding helmets available upon request |

Pony
Rides:
For
the cowboys and cowgirls who are too young to ride we offer
pony rides from 11:15am-3pm 7 days a week.
Parents
lead child.

Come
in and work up a hearty appetite on horseback on your way to our
Breakfast Camp. We
offer a wagon ride to our breakfast site with a spectacular view
of the Ten Mile Range.
