One of the many "Must Do" experiences at Copper Mountain is the Dinner Sleigh Rides. 

The dinner is offered twice nightly at 5:00 and 7:30pm.  For the comfort of our guests, a maximum of 38 people are allowed in each seating.  After checking in for dinner, our guests may enjoy the historic Wheeler Barn while waiting for the sleighs to arrive. Our guests snuggle under warm blankets for the twenty minute ride through snow covered woods while being pulled by a beautiful team of draft horses.

When you arrive at the cozy miner's tent, you'll find a live entertainment playing different kinds of music and wait staff ready to serve hot drinks. The tent offers a full cash bar and a complete wine list suited to compliment any dinner. For the main course, our guests are served steak au jus, chicken or vegetarian Beggar's Purse accompanied by vegetables.  The meal is concluded with a sumptuous fruit cobbler. After finishing coffee,  you are treated to a sleigh ride back to the Wheeler Barn.

Adults-13 and up  $78/person
Childern-4 to 12  $47/person
Children 3 and under are 15$ if they sit on parents lap and share parent's dinner.


Scenic Sleigh Ride 2006/2007
Snuggle under warm blankets as you enjoy a 30 minute sleigh ride through Copper's enchanted woods.
Adults-13 and up  $25/person
Childern-4 to 12  $15/person
Toddlers 3 and under are 5$.

Afternoon Chocolate Scenic Sleigh Ride 2006/2007
Under warm blankets, guests will enjoy a 20 minute sleigh ride pulled by a team of handsome draft horses to our tent to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. When finished our sleighs will pick guests back up and take them back to the historic Wheeler Barn.
Adults-13 and up  $35/person
Childern-2 to 12  $20/person
Infants-1 and under are free.
 

Directions to Dinner & Scenic Sleigh Rides

Our meeting spot is located at the historic Wheeler Barn adjacent to the Transportation Center in the Alpine Lot (east end of Copper Mountain Resort).

From East or West I-70, exit highway at Copper Mountain, exit 195. Turn right or west into the main entrance of the Resort (Copper Rd) just after exiting the highway. Immediately turn left into the Alpine Lot near the Transportation Center. The historic Wheeler Barn is adjacent to the Transportation Center. Look for our sign.

Please plan on arriving 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. We leave promptly.
